When it comes to the possibility of BMW X7, we have heard all sorts of things. First, there are rumors that it will be produced and then retracted a rumor saying that the plans for the X7 has been canceled. Now, it has turned into a game of tennis with a plan to switch back to the production side again. That's right, this SUV back on track, but that's only because the Chinese market asked.
This may seem like it came out of nowhere, and have. Wall Street Journal recently published an article about the summit of the world's largest economies in Seoul. The main topic of this summit is a "global rebalancing," but in the midst of all the crap are a few paragraphs that lead us to believe that BMW is no rethink its decision to pull out BMW X7.
BMW X7 concept

"The company is also counting on the U.S. to rebound more quickly than doom-and-gloomers think, making rebalancing less necessary than the leaders gathered in Seoul believe. It is even reconsidering its decision to cancel a new large SUV, which was meant mainly for U.S. buyers."

Exterior and Interior BMW X7

Being an X model, we expect to see the usual BMW SUV design language. However, since the X7 is a large luxury SUV, expect an exterior inspired mostly by the X6. The SUV’s front will be defined by the company’s usual kidney grille, a front bumper with large air intake, and integrated front bumpers.
The X7 will offer one of the most luxury interiors for a BMW SUV, same as the 7-Series limousine: high quality leather, wood insertions, and lots of new technologies.
BMW X7 concept

The Engine BMW X7

For the engine line-up, BMW will borrow the engine used in the X6: a 4.4 V8 engine with 400 hp and 450lb.-ft torque and a 3.0 inline six-cylinder engine that delivers 300 hp and 300 lb.-ft torque. An M version will use the company’s latest 4.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 555 hp at 6,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft of torque from 1500 to 5,650 rpm. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in around 5 seconds, while top speed will remain electronically limited to 155 mph.

Exterior and Interior BMW X4

X4 Concept, as expected, borrows styling elements from its big brother - X6 - BMW Sport Coupe and extends the Active path for two vehicles. On the front, you will see the typical BMW trademark, such as the kidney grille and twin circular headlights, so there is no mistaking that this model belongs to an exclusive group of vehicles with the gall to refer to themselves as the "Ultimate Driving Machine."
Specification BMW X4
Signature kidney grille a very stylish at the X4 concept, as a thick chrome surround sets the stage for a vertical bar grille, which is coated with a high-gloss black paint, to add depth look at the front end. In addition, the expanded grille helps keep the engine running nice and cool at all times.
The headlights come in featuring full-LED technology, assemblies that meet the stylish grille and a twin-circular pattern within the headlight assemblies, just as expected. This simply adds to the familiarity of this concept with the rest of the BMW lineup.
Specification BMW X4
Down just a few inches are windows that extend from the front door all the way to the rear quarter panels, giving the X4 Concept an elongated look. The highlights of the X4 Concept is definitely a pair of sharp shoulder lines that span the length of the X4. One line spans from the front fender to almost the end of the rear door and the second picks up where the first left off, swooping over the wheel well to meet the taillight. Speaking of the wheel wells, a beautiful set of 21-inch bi-color alloys fill them up nicely.

This is a terrible day for high-end, high-performance cars, so terrible that has red-flagged the BMW M1 Homage (which wowed the crowds at the Villa d'Este in 2008) and Z9 two-seater (which will be derived from the four-door CS show car from Shanghai in 2007), but the development work on the mid-engine Z10 continues.
Specification BMW Z10

Engine BMW Z10

The car is being engineered as a coupe and a roadster; both body styles are proper two-plus-twos with substantially more interior room than a Porsche 911. The target weight of the Z10 is in the vicinity of 3300 pounds. When the original supercar idea was outlined a few years ago, a twin-turbo V-8 was the engine of choice. But now that Efficient Dynamics is the name of the game at BMW, engineers are concentrating on a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight six rated at 450 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque (basically an uprated version of the engine that powers the next M3) paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic. Rumor has it that BMW is also toying with a twin-turbo V-6, which would be lighter and more compact, but those advantages are unlikely to offset shortcomings concerning prestige and heritage.
