Lamborghini Islero Information
Lamborghini Islero Information Exchange is designed for those who have or are interested in Lamborghini Islero, bodies were built by Marazzi during 1968-1969. Overall, 225 cars were built in two series. Many are known to still exist and partly driven regularly. Always a controversial design, the car is both an evolution of the original
Lamborghini GT concept and also different from the model that the company is more flamboyant. They were built as GTS comfortable with a front-engine V-12, and use the frame and independent rear suspension of their predecessors, 350/400GTs. This suspension is important in that it predates many of their rivals in the form of Ferrari road cars.
Lamborghini Islero information may be discussed by contacting me, Louis A. Herrin, DVM. As the historian for this project, I welcome any interesting material such as vehicle history, location and state of the car, if your car has wheels wire, air conditioning, sun roof, changes, etc. Instead, I might be able to answer some questions about the history of the private car you, or may help with other information about the Islero. I am a retired veterinarian and Islero this is a hobby project in the long term. I met many interesting people and hope to continue collecting useful information and make it accessible for those who are interested.
